The international Conference Harmony of the North: Man and Nature - Youth View will take place Petrozavodsk, Karelia, Russia on November 25-26, 2010

The conference shall focus on finding solutions for sustainable development of Northern regions, and making them more attractive for the youth to live in. Such solutions should be based on the interdisciplinary approach and efficient utilization of human creative potential.

is hopet that the conference will become an effective discussion ground where the common idea of harmonious interactions between man and nature in the North will bring together representatives of various sectors who strive to promote sustainable development of Northern regions and make them more attractive for the youth to live in.

Gaining its unique identity with time, the conference is expected to become an annual forum for discussions on issues of gross importance for the development of Northern territories and self-actualization of the youth, as well as to offer ground for new initiatives and projects in the sphere.
