Stefansson Arctic Institute, Akureyri, Iceland, was established in 1998 and to celebrate its 10th anniversary a web version of the Friendly Arctic Exhibition has been made in English, Danish and Icelandic. Photographs from Vilhjalmur Stefansson's excursions and extracts from his diary are also to be seen at Borgir (first floor), Nordurslod, Akureyri.
